Charlie & Renae have spent most of their lives working in the equine industry. Charlie as an equine dentist since 1995 and Renae, as a professional trainer working primarily in the barrel racing portion of the industry. In 2017, God laid the vision of Spurred to Victory on their hearts and set them on a course to fulfill that vision, which included Charlie receiving his bachelor's degree in biblical theology and the whole family, (including their horses), to leave the barrel arena for pursuit of furthering God's Kingdom. In 2023, they welcomed their first grandson and stepped into a sweet new season of grandparenthood! If you attend one of our events, you'll find the Wyant's on the other end of the mic and in the arena.  

Tucker is the son of Charlie & Renae and has grown up riding and training alongside his parents. This past year, God has increased his skill and has given him great purpose in the ministry. At events, you'll find Tucker performing all the "risky" maneuvers: riding colts, cracking whips while standing on the back of his trusty mount, Jerry, and even Roman Riding Jerry and Tom bridleless!

Bailey is the daughter of Charlie & Renae and has grown up in the equine training industry alongside her parents. She and her husband, Jeremy, own Troup Horsemanship & Equine Massage. Bailey is involved in the training of the STV horses, and you will see her participating in our events as well as her son, Desmond, helping with t- shirt sales and spoiling the horses with lots of treats! You'll see Jeremy from time to time with guitar in hand leading worship. If you have hosted an event with us in the past, sent us an instant message, or communicated with us on social media, then you have chatted with Brittany! She typically takes care of the day-to-day administrative details for STV. She and her husband, Corry, also sit on our board and operate the "NW PA Hay Drive" portion of the STV Ministry, which God has used since October of 2024 to provide agricultural relief to Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee farmers affected by Hurricane Helene. Silas is a 2013 AQHA bay roan gelding. He is the OG of the STV horse team and has been Charlie's main mount since the very beginning of the ministry. He is our lead mentor horse and loves liberty work. He's the "big brother" of the group and takes his responsibilities as the "boss" very seriously;). 

Tom is a 2018 AQHA red roan gelding. He is the "class clown" of the group and loves to have fun. He adores Alba and Carmie. Tom excels at liberty work and loves to lay down when asked, but sometimes even when he hasn't been asked!  He has excelled at learning how to mentor the younger horses and working bridleless.  

Alba is a 2019 AQHA brown mare and is owned by Bailey. She loves people & Tom. She actually nickers to people more than she does horses. Alba likes to stir the pot a bit with her brothers during events! She does a wonderful job with bridleless and liberty work. 

Jerry is a 2021 AQHA bay gelding. Jerry joined the team as a yearling learning to do liberty work alongside his brothers. He is now Tucker's main mount and excels at bridle-less work along with liberty. We have enjoyed watching God grow this team's relationship and we can't wait to see where He takes it in the future.    

Carmie is a 2014 miniature horse buckskin mare. However, don't let her size fool you! She is mighty and has the confidence to boot! Her favorite thing to do is rear. She has been with us for several years now and she continues to love liberty and learn new tricks. Carmie also pulls a cart and is a favorite among the kiddos who attend STV events. 

Smoke is our brand new recruit! He joined our team in summer 2024 and has become an incredible addition. He is Carmie's buddy and Renae has loved training these two for the STV programs.
